Accounting Specialist:

Summary:

This is a mid-level clerical position. Accounting Administrators will typically specialize in one of the functional areas within the KMX Accounting Department, but are asked to learn and work in all areas of the department. The areas include: Billing, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Commissions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist Accounting Managers
Assist in billing, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Commissions
Mail preparation
Data entry
Balancing of adjustments
Administrative duties and other assignments when needed
General office tasks as assigned
Copying, faxing, and filing

Required Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong work ethic, energetic
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (face to face and phone) Computer proficiency and typing skills(25wpm minimum)
Strong organization skills
Flexible
Detail oriented
Fast learner
Comfortable working in a very fast paced environment
Ability to stay focused n an extremely active/open office environment

Desired Job Qualifications:

Associates degree preferred but not mandatory
Experience in bookkeeping, general office, clerical accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

Working Conditions:

Fast paced office environment involving extensive use of phone and computers
Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required
Occasional light lifting

Compensation:
